YEEEEESSSS. Every single part of this, yes. And interesting twist, having the father (and king, it looks like?) laugh at this traditional but sexist ritual rather than enforce it with an iron twist. THISSSSS MOVIEEEEEEEEE I can haz now?

Oh, I have high hopes for this movie! Though I sadly doubt there’ll be many female characters :( We have Merida and her mother, but I think the rest of the characters that matter to the plot are male - even the animals.

I could be wrong though *please let me be wrong*
