Ah, yeah, I can understand that… And the manga is Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. It is amazing. Or anything by CLAMP, really.

I have been meaning to take a look at a bit more CLAMP. I had meant to watch Tsubasa, but got spoiled to hell and back, so I lost interest. Is the story in the manga very different from what happens in the anime?

Butting into your conversation, I doubt there are that many people who watch Merlin for the plot. :P

True that. The thing is, I’m a plot loving person, so if the story of a show doens’t grab me, the characters will have to really interest me for me to stick with it. None of the Merlin cast has gotten me hooked yet; I’m not saying they’re bad actors or boring characters, I just haven’t found a favorite character yet.

And the knowledge that they have an unending will-he-find-out-no-he-won’t when it comes to Arthur and Merlin’s magic, is a bit of a turn off. My parents really like it though.
